Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports

The Foundation provides scholarships for those with disabilities to enjoy all the recreational opportunities available in Waterville Valley. We are a proud sponsor of the Cold Turkey Plunge

Shakespeare in
the Valley

Shakespeare in the Valley has been brings professional theatrical productions of the Bard's classics to its popular "Theatre Under the Stars" stage each summer. The Waterville Valley Foundation sponsors the Shakespeare Camp which inspires young actors who live or visit the valley to participate in the arts

 

Summer Blooms

With dozens of plan barrels, the Summer Bloom team distributes and manages the flowing garden turning the town core into a walking garden which is both attractive to the eye, but also good for the environment.

Casting for Kirby

Hosted by the Waterville Valley Recreation Department along with Waterville Valley Pubic Safety, Casting for Kirby is a family event where hundreds of young anglers come to the shores of Corcoran’s Pond to see if they can catch the elusive Kirby. This event kicks off the summer activities and is well attended by the Waterville community and beyond.

 

Run for the Fallen

In 2021, the Run for the Fallen event moved to Waterville Valley. They returned in 2022 as well. This is an emotional event where every soldier from New Hampshire that has died while in service is honored with their families. This is especially impactful for Waterville Valley as Marc Paul Decoteau, a Waterville Valley native, died in Afghanistan in 2010.

Fall Foliage Footrace

This annual event is put on by the Waterville Valley Recreation department. It is well attended and closes out the summer season in Waterville Valley.

 

National Night Out

In partnership with the Waterville Valley Public Safety, the National Night Out is an event to have families connect with Police and Public Safety to educate on crime and drug use, while in a carnival atmosphere.

Winter Lights

Supporting the Winter Lights project to light up the town core with holiday theme lights. The lights are lit nightly starting in November until April
