November 2006
Dear Friends,
The Waterville Valley Foundation is dedicated to the support of the people and programs
that honor and preserve the rich history and sense of community that makes Waterville
Valley Unique. The Foundation, through the generosity of its contributors, has supported
and funded athletic, cultural and educational programs throughout the region. In the past
year, with the help of gifts from many friends like you, we were able to provide support
for the Adaptive Ski Program, the Waterville Valley Music Center, the Meeting House,
the Curious George Cottage and the Waterville Valley Athletic Improvement Association
(WVAIA).
Your generosity allowed us to:
- Meet our goal of $10,000.00 donation to the Speare Memorial Renovation
and Expansion Fund.
- Acquire and install a set of remote electric doors at the Ski Mountain Base Lodge.
- Begin the Historical renovation of the Gazebos in the Valley.
- Support the Waterville Valley Cultural Arts Program and the Shakespeare Festival.
This year in addition to thanking you for your previous support, we are requesting your
assistance in support of three new projects.
- The Center for Adolescent Health in Plymouth NH, a new center that provides
services to at risk youth and their families throughout the area.
- The Waterville Valley Cultural Arts Fund.
- The Creation of the Hans and Margaret Rey Center to be built in Waterville
Valley which is in its formative stages and funds are needed for the initial
planning and expansion phases of this most worthy project. The funds we
raise
will be matched this year up to $20,000.000. Your $100.00 will
become $200.00.
The Waterville Valley Foundation is a non-profit organization, a 501C(3)
Corporation,
that generates revenues from individuals, corporations and foundations. Our
commitment to these programs is a commitment to our community and to what makes
Waterville Valley the special place that it is. Your contribution is full tax deductible.
Again we thank you and appreciate your support. Additional information on these and
our other ongoing projects is available by contacting the Waterville Valley Foundation at
